Penfolds Kalimna Bin 28 Shiraz 2007
Big, concentrated, sweet and quite lacking in savoury aspects and structure. In recent vintages this seems to have lost any personality it had had before and has instead become a stereotype of S. Australian Shiraz. At 20,50€ the best thing about it is that it comes with a Stelvin closure instead of cork.

My surprise here is the price. You would expect to find this wine for around A$20 in Australia (about 14 euros). And Australian wine is generally even cheaper in Europe (or at least in London) due to Australia's wine tax system. I haven't yet tried the 07.
Cheers
Sean
Sean, thanks for reading. Finland is among the more expensive places to buy wine in Europe. And still prices seem to rise much faster than elsewhere.
