This is a quote I see on almost every web page dealing with Fichet - if anyone knows the original source, I would be happy to hear of it! Toast and a touch of bitterness from the oak, citrus and pineapple on the fruit end of the scent; and a good deal of steeliness and some butter. Crisp but rich palate, a nice balance of raciness and freshness. Yes, this is complex for a Bourgogne blanc, but I still don't understand the adulation of the unsourced quote.
