Boring Alsace Riesling

I should have read my note on the 2004 on this wine before buying one. I found that one very average; this one is no more interesting. A Riesling aroma of white flowers; "elegant" some might say, but I say lacking in dimensions and concentration. Soft for the grape and unmemorable though perfectly drinkable. But then again, water is also perfectly drinkable and unmemorable, too. Shame on you, Alko, for passing by so many good Alsace GC Rieslings and only keeping this one on our shelves for years on end.
